Available plans for hosted MongoDB instances for the ObjectRocket Cloud

ObjectRocket offers several plans for MongoDB on the cloud-native platforms. Access Mission Control for specific information about plans and pricing. Each plan includes three nodes and two replicas.

ObjectRocket also offers many custom sizing options. Contact support if none of the following plans suit your needs.

MongoDB plans and configuration

Consider the following components when selecting your MongoDB service:

  • Storage: The total storage available to you before replication.

  • Performance and profile: ObjectRocket uses a flavor to determine the performance characteristics of the nodes in your cluster. The main differences are the amount of memory and CPU offered for each node.

Flavors

MongoDB offers three flavors with different storage and memory allocations.

Basic

  • Low cost

  • Standard throughput with basic storage needs

  • For workloads with limited resource requirements

  • SSD Storage (GP2 in AWS, Zonal SSD in GCP, Premium in Azure)

  • Resource Ratio (Storage to RAM) is 10:1

  • Initial plan sizes: 10 GB storage with 1 GB memory, 25 GB storage with 2.5 GB memory, and 50 GB storage with 5 GB memory

Standard

  • Multi-use or complex deployments

  • Balanced performance and cost

  • For high throughput or resource requirements

  • SSD Storage (GP2 in AWS, Zonal SSD in GCP, Premium in Azure)

  • Resource Ratio (Storage to RAM) is 5:1

  • Initial plan sizes: 50 GB storage with 10 GB memory, 75 GB storage wth 15 GB memory, and 100 GB storage with 20 GB memory

High Performance

  • Complex deployments

  • Balanced performance and cost

  • For heavy traffic and resource-demanding deployments

  • SSD Storage (IOPS io1 in AWS, Zonal SSD in GCP, Premium in Azure)

  • Resource Ratio (Storage to RAM) is 2.5:1

  • Initial plan sizes: 50 GB storage with 20 GB memory, 75 GB storage with 30 GB memory, and 100 GB storage with 40 GB memory
